Tired Stamping: An Advanced Resin Technique
Quick Tips: TIPS & Recipes

Tired Stamping is an innovative technique similar to the injectable resin method but utilizes conventional resin to enhance mechanical strength and durability. Unlike flowable resin, which offers less resistance, conventional resin ensures robust restorations.
The process begins with precise conditioning using phosphoric acid and careful tooth isolation with Teflon on adjacent teeth. The patient’s digital design is prepped, and a transparent silicone matrix, such as GC Clear Hex, is created. This matrix, loaded with GC’s T-Free resin, enables accurate stamping without the need for resin heating.
The transparent silicone facilitates effective photo-polymerization, ensuring seamless results. Excess resin is trimmed for a clean, polished finish.
This technique is ideal for practitioners seeking an advanced, efficient method to deliver highly aesthetic and durable restorations while minimizing material preparation steps.
